Summer Therapy Sessions are officially returning for 2026!

Whether your child needs to bridge a learning gap or wants to sharpen their skills for the upcoming school year, the summer program is designed to make rapid, meaningful reading and spelling progress in a fun and supportive environment.

Intensive Reading and Spelling Remediation

Sessions are tailored to meet each student's unique needs, focusing on the core pillars of literacy:

Reading: Improving fluency and comprehension to ensure students can tackle more complex texts with confidence.
Writing: Developing sentence structure, organization, and clarity for academic success.
Spelling: Remediation and mastery of foundational patterns and rules.

Middle School Mastery

For students who have successfully completed the Reading By Design program (or similar program) but still find the fast-paced middle school writing demands a bit overwhelming, a specialized writing focus is offered.

This targeted support bridges the gap between foundational decoding and the high-level composition required in middle school. Focused on:

Increasing writing stamina and "keeping pace" with classroom assignments.
Moving from structured sentences to cohesive, multi-paragraph essays.
Real-time note-taking

Summer Session Details

To ensure students see real growth, a high-frequency scheduling model is used. Consistency is the key to "locking in" new skills!

Dates: June 8 – July 2, 2026 and July 6 – July 30, 2026

Session Length: 45 or 60 minutes of focused, engaging instruction

Frequency: 3 sessions / week of 60 minutes each or 4 sessions / week of 45 minutes each

Consistency: A weekly time slot is reserved exclusively for your child, providing a reliable foundation to build the rest of your summer calendar around. Weekly session times can be tailored around your child's summer camp or family vacation if arranged before the first session of the month.

Schedule:

Dyslexia remediation sessions are booked on a monthly basis with choices of either three or four sessions per week.

One-day-a-week lessons are not available during the intensive summer sessions.

Weekly Session Options

Option 1:

Three 60-Minute Sessions per week

$70 per session

Total Weekly Cost: $210

Option 2:

Four 45-Minute Sessions per week

$50 per session

Total Weekly Cost: $200

Important Notes:

Payment is due at the beginning of the month on or before the first session of the month.

Limited scholarship openings are available - specific criteria must be met to qualify.
