Registration and Deposit
To secure your child's time slot, a $500 deposit or a full month's tuition is required. The deposit will be applied directly toward the tuition balance for the month.
Once a scheduled time is confirmed and a deposit paid, your time slot is reserved for the duration of the month. While attempts will be made to accommodate changes for summer camp schedules (if scheduled prior to the start of the month), alternative openings are limited and offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• Emergency Cancellations: One emergency cancellation per month is allowed during the summer sessions. Emergencies are defined as unforeseen and unavoidable events such as contagious illness or death in the family. In the event of an emergency, please notify the instructor by phone or email before the scheduled session time to qualify for a make-up lesson.
• Non-Emergency Cancellations: One non-emergency cancellation is allowed (including “no shows”) during the summer. Non-emergencies are defined as events or circumstances that do not fall under the emergency category and include extracurricular schedule changes, medical appointments, or last-minute vacations. Cancellations must be communicated to the instructor at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session to qualify for a make-up lesson.
• Additional Cancellations: Any additional cancellations during the summer will result in a full charge for the missed sessions and will not be refunded or qualify for a make-up lesson.
• Make-Up Policy: Make-up lessons are offered on Fridays at a time convenient for the instructor and student. Occassionally, a make-up lesson can be added into the regular schedule if there is an opening.

• Practitioner Absence: If the instructor must cancel a lesson, a make-up session or a credit toward the following month’s fees will be offered.
Cancellations and Make-Up Lessons
The goal of the summer sessions is to help your child reach their highest potential by providing an environment built for growth.
Please keep in mind that progress is unique to every student, so specific results or timelines cannot be guaranteed.
Typically, a full dyslexia therapy program spans 2–3 years; while summer sessions are excellent for boosting momentum, they are one piece of the long-term remediation journey.
